Onsite video on MarketScale runs on a three-step rhythm: book it, brief it, shoot it. This FAQ answers the questions that come up most often at each step.
Book It. Self-serve scheduling.
Q: Where do I book?
A: Click the globe icon labeled Onsite Booking inside your MarketScale dashboard. The flow walks you through location, date, participants, brief, and review. The calendar shows live crew availability, refreshed every 30 seconds. If a date shows as Open or Limited, we're available.
Q: How far out should I schedule?
A: Four weeks is the sweet spot. That window lets us line up crew and gear without rush fees.
Q: What if my location is secure or overseas?
A: If you can book it in the tool, we can get there. If you need badges or special clearance, flag it in the brief field so we arrive prepared.
Important note: You handle the passes and door codes. We'll handle the cameras and lights. Deal?
Brief It. The fast prep.
Q: What info do you actually need?
A: The five W's plus footage goals. Who's on camera, what stories or B-roll you want, when the doors open, where we park our tripods, why the video matters. Drop your raw thinking into the brief field at booking, click Enhance, and the AI structures it into a complete production brief.
Q: Do I have to fill out a separate pre-production doc?
A: No separate paperwork. The brief field at booking is the doc. Drop in the essentials, click Enhance, and you're done. If you have existing planning files, attach them in the brief step so the crew arrives with the same context you have.
Q: Can I tweak the plan after I brief you?
A: Yes. For booking details (date, location, participants), update the booking in the platform if you can, or reach out to your MarketScale lead. For creative or plan-level changes, ping your MarketScale lead so the change lands in the plan before the crew call.
Pro tip from the coaches: Don't write the brief from scratch. Drop in three sentences with the production goal, the audience, and the must-hit moments. Click Enhance, then read it back and tighten anything that sounds generic. The AI gives you structure. You give it the texture only you know.
Shoot It. Turnkey execution.
Q: What happens on the day?
A: Crew shows up an hour early, rolls interviews, breaks for lunch, then chases B-roll. You'll see live updates in our production-day tracking app. Think DoorDash for video.
Q: How do I get the footage?
A: Files land in your MarketScale library automatically. Start requesting edits the same day. No caps on editing.
Q: What if something changes on set?
A: Tell the crew lead or drop a note in the production-day tracker. We adapt on demand.
