Get started creating User-Generated Content (UGC) by activating your crowd—colleagues, customers, and channel partners.

1. Identify Your Crowd & Objectives

  1. Define Your “Crowd”

    • Colleagues (internal teams)

    • Customers (testimonials, success stories)

    • Channel Partners (co-marketing opportunities)

  2. Clarify Your Goals

    • You might want to collect testimonials, training content, or podcast interviews.

    • These ideas will guide how you use the Studio platform once you log in.

Note: This step can happen informally—during conversations with our Sales or Digital Strategist teams—before you officially access MarketScale Studio.


2. Log into MarketScale Studio & Complete Setup

Once your MarketScale account is ready, you’ll receive login credentials to access the Studio platform. Inside the platform, you’ll see a guided workflow prompting you to:

  1. Fill Out the Brief Survey

    • Provide brand guidelines, key contacts, and any campaigns you’d like to run.

    • This helps us understand your initial focus areas.

  2. Upload Your Brand Assets

    • Add logos, fonts, color codes, and other design elements directly into Studio.

    • This step ensures any content you create or edit within Studio reflects your brand identity.

  3. Schedule (or Confirm) Your Kickoff

    • If the Sales Team already set a date, you’ll see it listed in Studio. Otherwise, pick a time that works for your team.

    • Need a pre-call? You can request it here if you want extra preparation or have questions.

  4. Activate Your UGC Project

    • Once you’ve completed the survey and uploaded brand assets, your UGC Project Link will become available.

    • Share it with your crowd so they can start uploading videos, photos, and other assets right away.

    • The UGC Project should have a unique submission from each of the team members who will be joining your kickoff.

Pro Tip: Kick-offs/UGC Projects will typically have 10-15 members of your team participating


3. Kickoff Call & Platform Overview

On the Kickoff Day, we’ll meet with you and your broader team (Marketing, Sales, HR, Product, Leadership, etc.) to:

  1. Walk Through the Platform

    • How to request edits, approve submissions, collaborate, and manage ongoing projects in Studio.

  2. Review Your UGC Project

    • Check any content that’s already been uploaded.

    • Address questions about branding, messaging, or technical features.

  3. Discuss Next Steps

    • Go over your contact lists of Colleagues, Customers and Channel Partners that will be activated in MarketScale Studio

    • Talk about initial Campaigns you would like to run (e.g. an Employee Podcast Series, or a Customer Testimonial Campaign)


4. Ongoing Support & Check-Ins

  1. On-Demand Assistance

    • Reach out anytime for technical help, creative strategy, or best practices.

  2. Periodic Check-Ins

    • We’ll schedule calls or touchpoints to review progress, troubleshoot issues, and share new ideas for UGC campaigns.

  3. Scale & Adapt

    • As you see success, easily invite new audiences (other departments, new customers, or partners) and launch fresh campaigns.

    • Our MarketScale team is here for troubleshooting, creative insights, and growth recommendations.
