Can I change my email address or username?

The short answer? No. Your email is your unique ID in MarketScale. Once it’s set, it’s locked.

The simple fix? If you have a new email, pick one of these two options to keep moving:

  • Option 1: Create a new account (Recommended). Sign up fresh. You get all notifications and password resets in the right inbox.

  • Option 2: Keep the old login. Log in with the old address, even if the inbox is dead. It’s fast, but be careful: if you lose the old email, you won’t get system alerts or password resets.

Is my work safe? Yes. Your files and projects stay in the system, no matter which login you use.

Pro Tip: Clean up the clutter. If you create a new account, ask your Admin or Support to delete the old one.

  • Why? It stops your name from popping up twice in user lists and tags.

  • Don't worry: Deleting the user does not delete your work.
