2026.05.01 — Release Notes: Plan smarter. Book live. Invite fast.

Three upgrades to Onsite Video Booking: AI-drafted briefs with attachable docs, live crew availability, and one-click invites for anyone on your roster.

Onsite Video Booking has three new powers that take time off your plate before, during, and after the booking. The AI drafts your brief from a few sentences. The calendar shows current crew availability the moment you open it. Invites cover your full roster, including anyone outside your org. Open it, and you'll feel the difference on the next shoot you book.

AI drafts your briefs. You give it the texture.

Drop your raw thinking into the brief field, click Enhance, and the AI structures it into a complete production brief. Attach your existing planning docs to the booking so the crew has everything they need before shoot day.

  • Write a few sentences. Drop the goal, the audience, and the must-hit moments into the brief field as raw notes.

  • Click Enhance. The AI reorganizes your notes into a structured brief with clear sections.

  • Attach your existing docs. Pull in your planning files so the crew arrives prepped with the same context you have.

  • Revert anytime. One click restores your original text if the enhanced version isn't what you want.

Pro tip from the coaches: Don't write briefs from scratch. Drop in three sentences with the production goal, the audience, and the must-hit moments. Click Enhance, then read it back and tighten anything that sounds generic. The AI gives you structure. You give it the texture only you know.

The calendar shows live crew capacity

Every date on the calendar reflects current production availability the moment you open it. Three statuses, polled live.

  • Open dates. Full availability. Book without restriction.

  • Limited dates. Capacity is filling. Book before the window closes.

  • Unavailable dates. Fully booked. The date is hidden from selection.

  • 30-second refresh. The calendar polls live capacity, so what you see on screen is what's actually open at the moment you click.

Add your team in seconds. Invite anyone else just as fast.

Participant entry pulls from your channel directory and lets you bring in anyone outside your org without leaving the booking flow.

  • Search your channel. Type a name and contact details, role, and photo auto-fill from your channel directory.

  • Invite externals. Send an invite to anyone outside your org with one click. No separate accounts needed.

  • Mark on-camera vs off-camera. A toggle on each participant tells your crew who needs prep and who is just attending.

Pro tip from the coaches: Add your channel team first, then layer in externals. Internal participants auto-fill from the directory in one click each, so you can build the core roster fast and spend your attention on the people you need to invite from outside.

Coming soon: your Onsite Production Command Center

These three upgrades are the start of a bigger move. We're bringing onsite production planning fully inside MarketScale: logistics, creative, scheduling, all in one place.

The Onsite Production Command Center will be the place to plan your production logistics from one screen. Get creative. Get messy. Get wild. Everything you need to plan an onsite production is coming to studio.

Why this matters

The three upgrades hit the parts of onsite booking that take the most time and create the most rework. Briefs that take an hour to write get a structured first draft in seconds. Crew availability shows live in the calendar the moment you click. Participant lists pull straight from your channel directory.

Log in to MarketScale. Open Onsite Video Booking. Plan your next shoot.
