May 2026 brings meaningful improvements to how your team finds, organizes, and acts on content. The headline changes expand what surfaces in My Media, make Saved Orders visible to clients, and introduce a new Details panel that puts key content metadata right where you need it. Alongside these features, a broad stability sweep addressed recording reliability, upload connectors, search accuracy, and dozens of UI issues reported across the platform.
New Features
This month introduced the content Details tab, expanded My Media visibility, custom playbook categories, folder deletion safeguards, Saved Orders surfacing in the UI, and deep-linked media carousel sharing.
Content Details Tab
A new Details panel is now available on every piece of content -- uploads, recordings, and request responses. Admins and collaborators can see who uploaded the file, when it was uploaded, what device and browser it came from, the file size and duration, and a full activity log, all in one place without digging through separate views.
Expanded My Media
My Media now surfaces all content a user is meaningfully connected to -- not just content they created. Content where a user has been tagged, mentioned, added as a collaborator, invited, or has submitted a survey now appears in their My Media view, giving team members a complete picture of their involvement across the platform.
Custom Playbook Categories
Admins and content creators can now define their own playbook categories directly from the playbook creation and editing modal, in addition to the built-in defaults like Onboarding, Offboarding, and Trade Show. Categories can be created inline without leaving the workflow, making it easier to organize playbooks to match your channel's structure.
Folder Deletion Safeguards
Deleting a folder no longer risks silently removing uploaded videos that are linked to other folders. The platform now protects against this data loss scenario, so administrators can reorganize folder structures with confidence that shared assets are not affected.
Saved Orders Now Visible in the UI
Saved Orders are now surfaced directly in the interface with clearer onboarding cues, so clients can find and act on them without needing guidance from your team. This addresses a pattern where active clients -- months into their engagement -- were unaware Saved Orders existed and were recreating work unnecessarily.
Deep-Linked Media Carousel Sharing
When navigating through individual files in a bulk media carousel, the page URL now updates to reflect the active file. Sharing or copying that URL takes the recipient directly to the same file in the carousel, eliminating the need to scroll through a batch to find the right asset.
Improvements
This month's improvements cover the Editing Queue redesign, Technologies Used widget, feed reliability, notifications panel, channel tier feature gating, recording room UX, search action buttons, and platform-wide copy and UI polish.
Editing Queue Redesign
The Editing Queue received a comprehensive visual and functional overhaul. The interface now uses a modern table layout with filter pills, pagination, and updated dialogs, making it faster to scan, sort, and act on items in the queue. Real-time count updates and row-level caching mean the queue reflects current state without requiring a manual refresh.
Technologies Used Widget
The legacy technology checkbox field on the upload form has been replaced with a smarter, searchable tagger widget. Editors can now log the tools and systems used in production more accurately, and when two or more technologies are recorded, the tech bonus flow is triggered automatically through the existing approval path.
Feed Reliability and Display
The dashboard feed received several reliability improvements this month. Creator attribution now loads eagerly so user names and avatars appear correctly on feed cards without blank or "Unknown user" states. Portrait images display at the correct aspect ratio in the feed, video playback no longer causes scroll hijacking or stuttering from layout measurement loops, and feed cards show consistent header and footer behavior across content types.
Notifications Panel
The notifications panel is now fully scrollable, and layout containment has been applied to prevent the inbox UI from affecting surrounding dashboard elements. Users can access their full notification history without the panel reshaping the page around it.
Channel Tier Feature Gating
Feature availability is now controlled per channel tier, giving administrators a clearer and more consistent experience based on their channel's plan. Features like AI Visibility and Onsite Booking are now gated appropriately, and a bug that incorrectly restricted editing for basic-tier channels has been corrected.
Recording Room UX
Several quality-of-life improvements landed for the recording room this month. Dropdown menus for camera and microphone options now close when clicking outside them or pressing Escape. The three-dot participant menu now shows the correct pointer cursor on hover. Video overlay information -- such as user info and slide count -- now hides automatically when playback starts and reappears on pause, keeping the viewing experience clean.
Search Action Buttons
The Create Video and Create Document buttons in search results are now enabled correctly when Videos, Podcasts, or Recording Rooms are selected -- not only when Uploads are selected. Podcast results have also been de-duplicated so each item appears only once in search results.
Platform Copy and UI Polish
Toast messages, modal titles, tooltips, and labels have been reviewed and corrected across the platform for grammar consistency, proper capitalization, and accurate terminology. Folder names now display their full text without truncation in the folder grid, and the selection label in the Folders page now uses correct singular and plural phrasing based on how many folders are selected.
