What is a Media Card?

New to MarketScale? Learn what a media card is, where to find it, and why it's your starting point for editing, proofing, and more.

Updated today

A media card is how your content shows up in MarketScale Studio. Every time you upload or record something, it gets its own card in your feed — think of it as the home base for that piece of content.

From the card, you can do everything: watch it, share it, send it for editing, and more. It's also the only place you can access Media Studio — the button lives right in the bottom right corner of every card.

Where do I find my media cards?

Head to your dashboard at studio.marketscale.com/dashboard and switch to one of these feeds:

  • Channel Media — shows all content uploaded to your channel.

  • My Media — shows only your uploads. This is the fastest way to find your own stuff.

Heads up: The Home feed shows content from everyone on the platform, not just yours. If you can't find your upload, switch to My Media.

What can I do from a media card?

Each card gives you quick access to the most common actions:

  • Media Studio — proof, edit, and submit your content for editing. Found in the bottom right of the card.

  • Download — grab the file directly from the card.

  • Share — copy a link to share with teammates or external stakeholders.

  • Comment — leave general feedback, just like you would on a social post.

I don't see a card for my content — what's wrong?

A few things to check:

  • Wrong feed? Make sure you're on Channel Media or My Media, not the Home feed.

  • Just uploaded? Give it a moment and refresh, it can take a few seconds to appear.

  • Uploaded to the Asset Library? Files stored there don't generate a media card. You'll need to upload your content through the standard upload flow to get a card in your feed.

Pro tip: Asset Library where content lives once it's done. Think of it as the home for approved, final media that you'd hand to a customer, partner, or press contact right now. Drafts, raw footage, and works in progress belong in the Media Studio.

Still can't find it? Reach out via live chat in the bottom right of your portal and we'll help you track it down.
