You can download content from MarketScale via your Channel Media feed and My Media feed, or via the Media Studio for that content.
Download from Your Dashboard
Not all content types support downloads. Standard Posts and Coaching Posts are posted directly into the platform and are not available for download. You will find downloadable content on your Channel Media Feed or in the My Media section.
Once you have located your media, click the Download button on the media card to start your download.
Download from the Media Studio
If you are inside the Media Studio (the proofing and editing workspace), you have two download options depending on what you need.
To download an individual clip from a multipart or bulk upload, click the Download button in the timeline area (top left). This lets you grab specific components one at a time.
To download everything at once, click the ellipsis menu (three dots) in the top-right corner of the Media Studio and select Download all assets.
Downloading Different Versions
If your media has multiple versions (for example, the original recording plus an edited version), each version has its own media card or version selector inside the Media Studio. Navigate to the version you want, then follow the same download steps above.
What About Audio-Only Downloads?
MarketScale Studio does not offer a separate audio download for video content. If you need audio only from a video, download the video file and extract the audio using a free tool like VLC Media Player or an online audio converter.
Note: If your original upload was an audio-only file (such as an MP3 or WAV), it will download in its original format.
Downloading Large or Multi-File Content
When you download content that contains many files or large assets, MarketScale will queue the download and package your files in the background. You will see a toast notification letting you know your files are being prepared. Once they are ready, you will receive an email with a download link. The link is valid for 72 hours. For smaller downloads (fewer files, smaller total size), the download will start immediately in your browser with no email step.
Troubleshooting
I don't see a download option on my media card.
Your user role may not include download permissions. Contact your account administrator or reach out to [email protected].
The download button is there but nothing happens when I click it.
The file may still be processing. Look for a "Media Conversion in Progress" indicator on the media card. If processing appears stuck, contact support.
I expected to see more format options.
MarketScale downloads your content in its original file format. For example, if you uploaded an MP4, it downloads as MP4. If you uploaded a MOV, it downloads as MOV. There is no format conversion or selection step. If you need your media in a different format, download it and convert it using a video conversion tool.
