How to Share Media in MarketScale

Two ways to share any video in MarketScale: the Share button on the media card, or Copy link in the three-dots menu. Both make the same view-only link. Recipients can view and forward without logging in; like, comment, and download require login.

Sharing your media is one click. Open any video and you have two ways to grab a shareable link, both pointing to the same place.

Where to find the share button

  • Share on the media card itself, alongside Like, Comment, Download, and Media Studio.

  • Copy link as the top item in the three-dots menu in the upper right corner of the card.

Both buttons generate the same shareable URL.

What recipients can do with the link

Anyone you send the link to can view the video, no MarketScale account required. They can also forward the link to other people, who can also view.

To like, comment, download, or otherwise interact with the video, recipients need to log in to MarketScale. The view-only experience is intentional. Anyone can confirm the content exists, but only authenticated users can engage with it.

Sharing works at any stage

You can share a video the moment it is uploaded, while it is in editing, or after it is finalized. There is no requirement to mark it complete first. Use the share link to gather feedback, send a working cut to a stakeholder, or distribute the final version.

When to use Ready to Share instead

Ready to Share is the digital asset manager for completed content. Use it when you want a shareable link with extra controls like expiration dates and download permissions. For day-to-day quick sharing of any video at any stage, the Share button on the media card is faster.
