How to Use the Media Studio in MarketScale

Proofing, Editing, Video2Text, AI Translations, and so much more. The Media Studio is where your content comes to life!

Level up your media collaboration with on-demand edit requests, multiple-version proofing and media processing in MarketScale.​

Edit, Proof, Perfect — All in One Place

Once you have recorded or uploaded your media on MarketScale, you're likely going to want to send it in for editing. To do this, open the Media Studio located at the bottom right of your media card.

The Media Studio is where collaboration comes to life. Here, not only can you send your media in for editing with the "Request Edit Now" tool, you can leave comments tied to specific timestamps, upload supporting files, and work alongside your teammates to provide clear feedback to our editors.

When you enter the Media Studio of your particular piece of content, it will look something like this:

If you make your way to the bottom of the page, you’ll find a comment box where you can suggest edits or provide feedback on specific clips. All your teammates can collaborate here, which ensures that everyone stays aligned and in sync. That's the power of the Media Studio.

Need changes? Ask to trim sections of the video or add visuals right where they’re needed. Be as specific as you'd like for how we should use (or not use) this content!

Note: To leave Proofing comments on uploads in Studio with multiple clips, just click through on the different clips within Media Studio. At the top of the Proofing room in the Media Studio, you'll see different clips to choose from, each with their own timeline to leave timestamped notes.

You can leave all types of detailed, timestamped feedback right in the comment box. Every comment is timestamped, allowing you and your team to give precise, moment-by-moment feedback.

As you submit Proofing feedback, the tool catalogs your comments in the right sidebar, forming a checklist of actions.

The Media Studio places no limit on users, which means multiple team members can collaborate in the same room at the same time. To invite your team members to collaborate on Proofing, simply copy the URL and share it with your team if they are already a Standard user in the platform.

For everyone else (like for collaborators who may not be in your specific Group, or for VIP Guest Pass Users with limited access who haven't worked on this video), simply click on the Collaborators button in the top right-hand corner of the Media Studio.

You'll then be prompted to add existing users in Studio as collaborators, or to type in a new email address for an external user.

This will give them instant access to the content and its Media Studio, as well as any feedback that's been added.

AI-Powered Translations, Built Right In

Reaching your audience in their native language is one of the most effective ways to build trust and engagement. By speaking directly in the language they understand best, you make your message more relatable and impactful.

To access MarketScale's AI-powered Translations tool, head over to the bottom right of the page.

Click Request Translation to get started. A disclaimer will appear, noting that AI-generated translations may include minor inaccuracies or tone differences. Keep in mind—it's best to have a human review any sensitive content.

Once you’ve selected your target language from the dropdown menu (whether it’s French, Spanish, or another supported option), it’s time to move forward. Simply click the Request Translation button again to finalize your request.

This begins the AI-powered translation process, where your original voice is seamlessly converted into the selected language—no dubbing required!

Your video will soon be processed and made ready for your audience. Right after submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation to let you know your request is in progress.

You'll receive a notification when the translated version is ready.

AI Writing Meets Real-Time Collaboration

The Media Studio is a hub for more than just proofing and editing. It also provides access to Video2Text, MarketScale's AI Writing tool, and Docs, MarketScale's real-time collaborative documents tool.

Video2Text turns your media into high-quality written content using first-party data, which means everything is done safely and securely. Docs lets multiple users collaborate on the written copy for your video — all at once.

MarketScale’s AI-powered Writing tool starts by transforming your video content into text using automatic transcription. Before you begin generating written materials like blogs, summaries, or case studies, you’ll want to review and refine this transcript to ensure accuracy.

To access the transcript, click on the Transcript icon. This is located to the right of the Comments button in the top-right corner of the Media Studio.

You should end up with something that looks like this:

Note: The AI transcription is highly accurate (typically 98–99%), but it's still important to review it. Pay special attention to names, titles, and acronyms that may require manual correction.

Now that you’ve had a chance to look over your transcript, access the Video2Text tool from the upper left corner. You'll find the icon right below Proofing.

Your screen should look something like this:

You can either type in your own prompt if you have something specific in mind, or keep it simple by choosing from one of the built-in options, like a blog post, video summary, FAQ, LinkedIn post, and more. Just pick what you need, and the AI Writer will take it from there.

Once the AI Writer generates your draft, you can keep refining it by giving more direction. Whether it’s adjusting the tone, expanding a section, or rewording something, the AI will help you polish your content.

You can ask for further edits, copy the content, or have the tool generate a completely new version. Once you’re happy with the final version, just click Send to docs to move it into your workspace. This icon is located just above the chat box on the right.

Now, you can review your content in detail, make final edits, and polish it to perfection. The Docs space also makes it easy to collaborate — invite teammates, leave comments, and contribute edits as needed.

You can also use the AI Writer directly within Docs to refine any part of your text. Just highlight a section, and a menu of options will appear—expand, shorten, rephrase, simplify, adjust tone, add emojis, and more. It’s a quick, flexible way to fine-tune your content right where you're working.

Remember, the Docs space is where collaboration happens. You can invite teammates to review, comment, and make edits together. The right sidebar features a Recent files view that neatly organizes all your drafts, making it easy to manage multiple documents at once. You’ll also have quick access to your original transcript and a Comments panel for streamlined feedback and team collaboration.

When you're happy with your content, all that's left to do is download it. Just head to the top-right corner of your document and click the Download button to save your work.
