Whether you need a 1080×1080 for Instagram, a 1920×1080 for YouTube, a 9:16 vertical for TikTok, or any other variation, MarketScale lets you create as many alternate versions as you need from any existing video. Each version gets its own project so your originals are always preserved.
How It Works
Each alternate version is a new project created from the same source video. You submit a separate edit request for each size or format, and our editing team delivers each one independently. Your original project is never touched.
Step-by-Step: Creating an Alternate Version
Open the folder containing your video in MarketScale. If the video is not in a folder yet, add it to one first.
Use the checkbox to select the video you want to create a new version from.
Click Create Project.
Give the project a name that identifies the size or format — for example: "Testimonial Video - 1080×1080" or "Brand Video - 9:16 Vertical". This keeps your feed organized when you have multiple versions.
Once you are in Media Studio, add your editing instructions. Be specific about what you need for this version.
Click Request Edit Now and fill out the brief. Pay close attention to the Orientation field and select the format that matches your target size (vertical, square, or landscape).
Submit your request.
Repeat steps 2 through 7 for each additional size or format you need.
Specifying Your Dimensions
For the clearest results, include your size requirements in two places:
In your editing instructions — state the exact pixel dimensions or aspect ratio (e.g. 1080×1080, 1920×1080, 9:16) and the destination platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
In the brief's Orientation field — select the matching format (vertical, square, or landscape)
In the project name — include the size so you can instantly identify it in your feed
