How Memories work in Channel Brain

Memories are durable facts the AI keeps about your channel. Learn how proposed memories get reviewed, approved, and used across every AI action.

A good collaborator remembers what you told them last time. Memories are how Channel Brain does that: durable facts about your channel that MarketScale carries from one task to the next. This explains where memories come from and how you stay in control of them.

Two kinds of memory

  • Memories you write. Facts you add yourself in the Memories tab. Fully yours to edit, toggle off, or delete at any time.

  • Memories MarketScale proposes. As people work with MarketScale in your channel, it notices durable facts and proposes them back to you. These arrive for review before they ever influence anything.

Approval is the switch

Memories live in two tables: Proposed and Approved. A proposed memory does nothing until you act on it. Approve it and it becomes part of your brand memory that every AI action can draw on. Reject it and it is set aside. Nothing MarketScale proposes shapes your content until a human says yes.

Pro tip from the coaches: Review proposed memories like you would review a new hire's notes. Approve the ones that are true and reusable across the channel. Reject the ones that were true for one project but would mislead the next. A lean, correct memory set beats a large, noisy one.

Keep it accurate over time

Memory is only useful if it stays true. Edit a memory when a fact changes, pin the ones that should always weigh in, and clear out anything stale. This is a living record of your channel, and a few minutes of curation keeps every downstream AI action sharp.

What to do next

Memories grow as your team uses MarketScale. To give it even more context, connect the tools your brand already runs on. See How to connect sources to Channel Brain.
