Your team isn’t here to “learn a tool”—they’re here to solve real business problems, share their expertise, and start creating content that moves the needle. Our job is to get your internal crowd—employees, customers, partners—creating real content from day one. The Kickoff is how we prove that UGC can drive outcomes, not just engagement.

🔍 Step 1: Define Your Crowd & Your “Why”

Before anything hits the platform, let’s get clear:

  • Who should be creating? Colleagues, customers, channel partners?

  • What are you solving for? Recruitment, sales pipeline, onboarding, visibility?

You likely already know the answer to these questions; it's why you signed up! If you need more input, you’ll tackle this during Sales handoff or in your first conversation with your MarketScale Coach.


🛠 Step 2: Get Your Studio Setup Ready

Once your MarketScale Studio Channel is set up and you've been added to the platform, your Admin will receive a guided setup flow to:

  • ✅ Invite tons of users — success looks like dozens of users brought into the platform and activated as creators

  • ✅ Complete your Brand Book — logo, fonts, colors, and key branding resources

  • ✅ Book your Admin Setup Call — a required step before we activate your team


🎯 Step 3: Admin Call (Required Prep)

This call is for your Admins only. Think your department leads, your decision-makers, the orchestrators of your content engine. This call is where we'll translate your business pain into your first UGC strategy.

What we’ll do:

  • Walk through how UGC fits your workflows—not just your brand

  • Guide you in inviting users, uploading early, and recruiting internal champions

  • Outline your first async UGC challenge; send to future creators

  • Align on who you want creating and why

This call sets the foundation for everything that follows.


🎥 Step 4: Creator Kickoff Call

This is our UGC activation workshop.

The Kickoff Call is where your broader team joins (Sales, Marketing, Ops, HR, etc.), and we activate them live with interactive activities designed around your goals.

We’ll:

  • Run several hands-on UGC challenges—record, upload, create on the spot

  • Use the platform as part of the activity, not a tour

  • Review and build your first UGC campaign together

  • Drive user uploads, media requests, and edit submissions during the call

⚠️ If creators aren’t invited or UGC hasn’t started, we’ll delay the call—empty workshops won't help you turn your community into content creators!


📈 Step 5: After Kickoff = Momentum Mode

UGC is a behavior, not a one-off campaign. After your Kickoff:

  • Your Coach will guide your first async project or campaign

  • We’ll track early wins—edits submitted, content uploaded, engagement sparked

  • You’ll continue activating new users across teams and departments

  • Check-ins and support resources will keep your momentum high
