Why Should I Use Folders for Edit Requests?
Centralized Organization
Folders let you group related media together—whether by campaign, event, product line, or timeline. This makes it easy to select multiple pieces of media at once.
Batch Submissions
Instead of submitting edits one media at a time, folders allow you to select all the media within the folder or handpick several files. This is especially useful for large projects, such as post-event content dumps, seasonal campaigns, or training series.
How Do I Submit Edits Out of Folders?
To start with, navigate to the Folders Page (click the folder icon near your profile picture).
2. In the Folders view, you can see all the folders created by users in your Channel. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Don’t worry—there are plenty of options to help you filter and organize them.
3. Select the folder you want to edit by clicking on it. Once inside, you’ll see all the media stored in that folder. From here, you can choose individual files or use the Select All Media option if you’d like to include everything in your edit request.
4. Now, click Request edit from folder. This will pop open the edit request form, where you can customize your submission by choosing a style, selecting the orientation and brand book, and adding any notes or additional footage to guide the editors.
Along with setting the vibe and choosing the length, you can also direct how the video should begin—and point out any must-see moments you want to make sure are included!
Once you’ve finished filling out the form and made all your selections, simply click Let’s Create to submit your edit request. From there, the editors will take over and start working on your video!
Submitting an Edit Request Across Folders
In addition to requesting edits from within a single folder, you can also submit multiple folders for editing—all at once. This is a convenient way to manage large volumes of content efficiently.
From the Folders dashboard, simply select one or more folders and click Request edit from folders. This will open the edit request panel, letting you submit edits across entire folders at once.
From this panel, you can apply an existing style, set the desired orientation, select the brand book, and even upload supplementary footage—streamlining collaboration while maintaining brand consistency.
Remember: Whether you’re handling a single campaign or combining assets from multiple projects, folders give you the flexibility to group content, submit batch edits, and keep your workflow streamlined.
By taking advantage of both individual folder requests and the ability to submit edits across multiple folders, you’ll save time, reduce back-and-forth, and ensure your editors have the full context they need to deliver polished, on-brand videos.
