If you select videos from your phone's photo library and they don't show up in MarketScale, it's almost always a browser permission issue. Here's how to fix it quickly.
Quick fix
Close the MarketScale upload page.
Update your browser's media and camera permissions (steps below).
Return to MarketScale, refresh the upload page, and select your videos again.
iPhone (Safari)
Open Settings > Safari.
Scroll to Settings for Websites.
Tap Camera and Photos, then make sure MarketScale is set to Allow.
If you're using Chrome or another browser on iPhone, check that browser's app permissions under Settings > [Browser] > Photos.
Android (Chrome or other browsers)
Open Settings > Apps > [Your browser].
Tap Permissions.
Enable Files and media (or Photos and videos) and Camera.
Still not working?
Try an incognito window — extensions or cached permissions can block uploads.
Check file format — MarketScale supports MP4, MOV, and most common video formats. HEIF/HEIC live photos may need to be exported as video first.
Try a smaller batch — upload 2–3 videos at a time to rule out file size issues.
Upload from desktop instead — AirDrop or email videos to your computer and upload from there.
If none of that works, reach out to support with your browser type, phone model, and a screenshot of what you're seeing.
