Be specific -- include exact timestamps and clear instructions
Use references -- link previous versions or examples if helpful
Respond quickly -- answer any editor questions to avoid delays
FAQ
Why weren’t my revision notes seen by the editing team?
Always leave your feedback comments in the latest version of your edit, located on the left-hand side of the version ribbon in Media Studio. Comments left on older versions may not be relevant to the most recent edit and can easily be missed during the revision process.
If you leave additional feedback after a revision request has already been submitted, notify support or your coach so the editing team can ensure the late-added notes are reviewed and addressed.
I added comments, but no edits were made. What happened?
Timestamped comments by themselves do not start the revision workflow. After leaving comments, click “Request Revision” and complete the edit brief to officially submit your changes.
How do I know if my revision request was submitted successfully?
After submitting your request, the project status should update to reflect that editing is in progress. If the status doesn’t change, refresh the page to confirm the revision request was submitted correctly.
