Where to Find the Request Edit Now Button
New to MarketScale and just trying to locate the button? Here's the quick path:
Click the Upload button to upload your content.
Approve your video, or have it approved by someone with approval access.
Once approved, you'll get an email confirming approval with a link to the video. You can also find it using the search bar inside MarketScale and also in "My Media".
Open your video and click the Media Studio button in the bottom right corner of the media card.
In the top right corner of your screen, under the Comments button and next to Mark completed, you'll find Request Edit Now.

Why the Button Disappears
The Request Edit Now button only appears on media that hasn't been edited yet. Once a video has been through an edit cycle, the button is replaced by Request Revision instead. So if you're not seeing it, the most common reasons are:
1. The video has already been edited (status: Edited or In Editing)
Once your video has been sent for editing, Request Edit Now is no longer available. Depending on where things stand:
Status is "In Editing". An editor is actively working on it. You'll be notified by email when the edited version is ready. At that point, open it in Media Studio and use Request Revision to send any changes.
Status is "Edited". The edit is done and waiting for your review. Open Media Studio and use Request Revision to request further changes, or Mark Complete if it's ready.
2. The video is marked Complete
Once a video is marked Complete (by you, or automatically after 72 hours of inactivity, or 24 hours on Basic plans), neither Request Edit Now nor Request Revision will appear. The video is considered finalized.
To get new edits on a completed video:
Create a new project from your folder — open the folder containing your project in Studio, use the checkbox to select your content, click Create Project, name it, and request your new edit from Media Studio. Your original stays intact.
