Groups are a great way to automatically filter your feed to the media most relevant to you.

If you'd like to learn more about Privacy settings in MarketScale, check out this companion article.

How to Filter Your Feed With Groups

Log in to MarketScale and access the dashboard / home feed. From there, click your profile in the top right corner.

If there are Groups in your Org, you can use this feature to select the Group you'd like to filter your feed. Note, if this option is not shown, then there are no Groups in your Org.

Click the Group you'd like to view through in your feed.

You will now see a filtered view of your feed that shows only the media that are set to be in this Group. Once you are in the Groups view, you can quickly toggle between them using the lefthand sidebar.

How to Create Groups

To create Groups, open your profile in the top right corner and click Groups under Manage Account.

From there, you can create a new Group using the Create new + button in the top right corner.

NOTE: If you have existing Groups, you can join them from this page (or request to join them, if they are private groups).

To create a new Group,

  • Upload a photo, or choose a background color.

  • Name the group

  • Describe the group

  • Add members

Important Note: You also have the option to choose whether this will be a Private Group. Content created within this group will be only available for members of the group. It will not be available for viewing by your Organization (except Admins, whose permissions override Private Groups).

Finish creating your Group by clicking Create Group in the bottom right.

You will now see your Group as an available option in the Groups menu, and in the selector under your Profile.
