Recording Room Participant Limits and Managing Attendees

Find out how many participants can join a Recording Room, how to manage attendees, and what to expect when recording with multiple people.

The Recording feature in MarketScale makes it easy to record high-quality audio and video content, whether you're recording by yourself or with multiple participants. It's ideal for presentations, training content, interviews, podcasts, panel discussions, and other remote recordings.

Participant Limits

A Recording Room can have up to four participants at a time.

This includes:

  • The host

  • Interview guests

  • Anyone attending the recording

The four-participant limit helps maintain high-quality audio and video while preventing technical issues that can arise from larger recordings.

Managing Participants

Only the host (the person who created the Recording Room) can add or remove participants.

To manage attendees:

  1. Locate the Recording Room card in either:

    • My Media, or

    • Inbox

  2. On the Recording Room card, navigate to the Participants section.

  3. To add a participant:

    • Click Add participant

    • Enter the participant's details

  4. To remove a participant:

    • Click the X next to their name

Removing a participant immediately frees up a spot so someone else can be added.

Note: If you are not the host who created the Recording Room, you will not be able to add or remove participants.

Need More Than Four Participants?

Recording Rooms are currently limited to four participants per room. If you need to collect content from a larger group, consider creating multiple Recording Rooms or using Requests to gather individual recordings.
