How to Use Filters to Find Your Content in Studio

Filters help you quickly locate content inside Studio, whether you're searching for your own uploads, tracking edit progress, or sorting through your organization's media library.

Filters are a powerful tool in MarketScale, allowing users to efficiently locate specific content. This guide will walk you through the process of using filters to streamline your content search.

1.) Choose the Right Feed

From your Studio dashboard, start by choosing the feed you want to search in:

My Media - Shows only content you personally uploaded or created.

Channel Media - Shows all content uploaded across your organization.

2.) Locate Feed Filters

Your filters can be found at the top of your feed - under the feed selection tabs.

Status:

Use the status filter to narrow your feed based on workflow status.

For example:

  • In Editing

  • Quality Control

  • Edited

  • Completed

This is useful for tracking where content is in the production process.

Sort By:

Use the sort filter to organize your feed by:

  • Latest

  • Oldest

  • Approval Date

  • Date Requested

This helps you quickly locate recent uploads or older projects.

3.) Use the Search Bar

Another great option is to use the search bar to locate uploaded content. The search bar can be found at the top of the feed - above the feed selection tabs.

Here, you can search for content by:

  • Video title

  • Keywords

  • Names

When you click into the search bar, you’ll also see options to filter by media type.

For example:

  • Videos

  • Podcasts

  • Other supported media types

Tips for Finding Content Faster

  • Use My Media when searching for your own uploads

  • Use Channel Media when collaborating across teams
