How Do I Check My Video's Status?

Updated over a week ago

Keeping track of where your video edit stands doesn’t have to be a guessing game. With Video Status, you get real-time visibility into the editing process—so you know exactly what’s happening and when your project will be ready.

Where to Find Video Status

Once you’re inside Studio, look to the top left corner of your dashboard. The Video Status tab sits right in the main navigation, making it the first stop for tracking edits.

What You’ll See

From here, you can filter and sort through the video queue to quickly locate the project you’re looking for. Whether you manage one video or dozens, the system gives you a clear, at-a-glance overview.

Each video is displayed with clear stage indicators, so you know exactly where it sits in the pipeline. Stages include:

  • Needs Info – Missing details before editing can start

  • Ready to Edit – Queued and waiting for an editor

  • In Editing – Actively being worked on

  • Quality Control – Under review for final adjustments

  • Edited – Polished and awaiting approval or distribution

  • Completed – Finalized and ready for download or publishing

Alongside the stage, you’ll see who’s editing, how long it’s been in that step, and more. This eliminates the need for constant check-ins or follow-up messages.

Staying Up to Date

Video Status updates instantly. The moment an editor moves your project to the next stage, you’ll see it reflected in Studio—no delays or guesswork.

Seeing exactly where your content stands helps you plan your next moves with confidence. If a project is marked Edited, you know it’s nearly finished—perfect timing to prep thumbnails, draft promotional copy, or line up client reviews. When it moves into Quality Control, it’s under final review for tweaks, so you can start locking in your publishing calendar with confidence. And once it hits Completed, you’re ready to go live without a hitch.

Why It Matters

By centralizing updates in Studio, Video Status keeps creators and coordinators on the same page. You’ll spend less time asking “Where’s my edit?” and more time moving your project forward.

In short: To check your video’s status, just open the Video Status tab in Studio, filter or search for your project, and review its stage indicators or detailed status pane. It’s fast, clear, and designed to give you peace of mind.
