Why Is My Content Marked as Complete?

Marking content as Complete helps your to keep your MarketScale feed clean and your projects organized. Once a video is finalized, completing it signals to your team and ours that the edit is done, no further revisions are expected, and the video is ready for publishing or distribution.

Videos are marked Complete in one of two ways:

  1. You mark it yourself. Inside the Media Studio, you'll see a "Mark Complete" button in the top-right corner. Clicking it finalizes the project on your terms. For a full walkthrough, see How to Mark Your Media as Completed in Studio.

  2. It happens automatically. If 14 days pass with no new comments or revision requests, Studio will "autocomplete" the video to keep your queue moving.

Here's what the Mark Complete button looks like when your video has been edited and is ready for you to finalize:

And here's what it looks like once a video has been marked as Complete:

Completing your videos promptly helps you stay organized, unlocks Saved Orders for reuse on future projects, and ensures your editing team knows which projects are truly finished.

Need to Make Changes After Completion?

If a video has been marked as Complete but you need further edits, reach out to your MarketScale account team or contact MarketScale Support. Just provide a link to the video you'd like reopened, and we'll take care of it.

If you haven't already added your notes using the timestamp comment feature in the Media Studio, go ahaed and add your notes so that when your video has been reopened you can click "Request Revision" and send your notes back for implementation.
