The teams that get videos out the door in a week aren't faster editors. They're better at setting V1 up to be almost-done so V2 is the final cut. The teams that take a month are stuck in trickle-feedback loops where each reviewer notices one new thing on a different round. Here's how to land V2 instead of V5.

Submit every asset and spec on the first pass
Logo files, lower-third names and titles, brand book selection, music preferences, intro and outro files, any reference clips. If the editor has it on V1, they apply it on V1. If they get it on V3 because somebody forgot, you've burned two revision cycles to add something that should have been there from the start. The submission form is the only chance to front-load this; everything you leave out costs you a round.
Loop in every reviewer at the proofing stage, not after
When V1 lands, share the proofing room with every reviewer at the same time. Don't watch it yourself, send feedback, and then loop the next person in after. Each reviewer drops timestamped comments and @-tags whoever needs to weigh in. The editor sees one consolidated list of changes, not three rounds of partial feedback arriving over five days.
Upload new assets to the Workbench between rounds
If feedback requires a new asset (an updated logo, a different music track, a corrected lower-third graphic), upload it to the Workbench so the editor has access without anybody needing to email a file. The Workbench is the shared space the editor pulls from; keeping new assets there instead of in scattered DMs prevents the editor from working off an old file by accident.
Invite VIPs as project collaborators
If there's a stakeholder who needs to approve every video (executive, legal, brand), invite them as a collaborator on the specific project. They get notifications when V1 lands and can drop comments directly in the proofing room. Their approval becomes part of the record instead of a Slack message you have to forward to the editor. The project history shows who approved what, in case anything comes back later.
