Download Formats

No matter where you download your transcript, the same three formats are always available:

  • PDF – A clean, readable document for sharing or archiving

  • SRT – A timed caption file supported by platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube

  • VTT – A WebVTT caption file used for web-based video players

Method 1: Download from the Dashboard

This is the fastest way to download a transcript.

  1. From the Channel Media feed, locate the media card

  2. Click the ellipsis menu (⋯) in the top-right corner

  3. Select Download transcript

  4. Choose your format (PDF, SRT, or VTT)

The file will download to your device.

Note: If you don’t see this option, your role may not include download permissions. Contact your admin to confirm access.

Method 2: Download from Media Studio

If you’re already working inside Media Studio, you can download the transcript without leaving.

  1. From Media Studio, click the Transcript icon (top-right, next to Comments)

  2. Review or edit the transcript if needed

  3. Click Download and select your format

Method 3: Download from the AI Chat Tool

You can also access and download your transcript from the AI Chat tool within Media Studio.

  1. From Media Studio, locate the AI Chat tool in the vertical toolbar on the left side of your video

  2. Open the Transcript tab in the right-hand panel

  3. Review the transcript and click Download

  4. Choose your format (PDF, SRT, or VTT)

A note on transcript accuracy

MarketScale transcripts are generated automatically using AI and are accurate 98–99% of the time. Before distributing, it's worth doing a quick proofread - in particular, checking names, locations, titles, and industry-specific terminology. You can edit the transcript directly in the Transcript panel inside Media Studio before downloading.
