MarketScale's Conversations tool is perfect for podcasting. Invite guests to record high-quality audio and video and share your stories with the world.

Prerequisites

Steps to Record Your Podcast Episode

Step 1: Set Up Your Recording Room

  • Log in to MarketScale Studio and navigate to the "Conversation Room."

  • Title your recording room to reflect your podcast episode.

  • Add up to four participants, including yourself as the host and up to three guests. If you're setting this up for someone else, you can remove yourself after adding the appropriate participants.

Step 2: Prepare for the Recording

  • Once you're in the room, review your guest lineup. You'll see their statuses (muted/unmuted) and can resend invites if necessary.

  • Test your equipment (camera and microphone) and ensure each participant’s setup is ready for high-quality recording.

  • Adjust your microphone placement to avoid issues like over-amplification (if too close) or poor sound pickup (if too far).

Step 3: Record Your Episode

  • Once all participants have joined, click Start Recording.

  • Stay mindful of your framing during the recording—ensure that your face is well-lit, you are centered, and the background is professional and intentional. Keep the camera at eye level, with good headroom.

Step 4: Finalize and Save the Recording

  • Once the recording is complete, click Stop Recording to end the session. Remember, you can record multiple segments!

  • The recorded files will be automatically saved, ready for post-production editing and final touches.
