Once you are satisfied with the edits to your media, you should mark it as Completed in MarketScale Studio.
This step helps streamline communication within your team and with editors. It removes any ambiguity about the status of a project, reduces the risk of unnecessary revisions, and ensures everyone is aligned on what's ready for publishing or delivery.
How to Mark Your Media as Complete:
To start with, enter the Media Studio room for your media file. You will find the Mark Completed button in the top right corner of the page.
Click on this button to signal that your media is ready. After this step, a pop-up will ask you to pick between two options. Choose the appropriate option, and finally, click Mark as completed.
This is what your top right screen should look like now:
4. What happens if you mistakenly mark your media as Completed, or later realize your Completed media needs another edit?
Well, you can always mark the media as Incomplete by clicking on the same Completed button at the top right corner of the page.
Here's what should come up when you do this:
Choose the Mark as Incompleted option, and then go on to request any further edits, should you need them.
Remember, all media is marked Completed 14 days after the last edit. You can always revert it to Incomplete if further changes are needed.
While your media will be auto-completed two weeks after your last edit, it is always good to manually mark it as Completed. This step gives you greater control and clarity in your workflow, ensuring your team knows when the media is finalized and ready to move on to the next stage.
