How to Manage User Permissions as an Admin in MarketScale

Admins have full control over who can access your channel. Here’s how to manage user roles and permissions quickly and easily.

Only Admins Can Access This

Standard and guest users won’t see the Users page. This area is available only to admins.

Step-by-Step Guide

Click your profile icon in the top right. Under Admin Actions, select Users. You’ll arrive at the user list for your organization, a table view that displays for each user

To find specific users, use the search to search for their name and/or email address.

You can also use the filters at the top:

  • Filter by role (e.g., Guests only)

  • Combine filters (e.g., Guests + Invited)

  • Select multiple roles (e.g., Invited Guests and Standard Users)

If you want to edit a user's permissions, click the pencil icon next to a user. From here, you can change the user’s role (for example, Guest → Standard), remove the user from the channel, or delete the user account (use with caution).

Note: Only fully activated users (profile set up and password created) can be promoted to Admin.
