The "Got It" button appears on coaching videos to let viewers acknowledge they've watched and understood the content. Here's how it works:
Who sees "Got It"?
Logged-in Members: Members who are signed into their MarketScale account will see the "Got It" button on coaching videos.
VIP Guests: VIP Guests do not have access to the Coaching feed or coaching-specific interactions, so they will not see "Got It."
External / View Only viewers: If someone opens a coaching video link without being logged in, they see a "View Only" version of the page. The "Got It" button is not visible in View Only mode.
When does "Got It" appear?
The "Got It" button appears only when all of these conditions are met:
The content is a coaching video (not standard media).
The viewer is logged in to their MarketScale account.
The viewer's platform role is Member (not VIP Guest).
Common reasons "Got It" may not appear
The viewer opened the link while not logged in (they're in View Only mode).
The link was copied from the browser address bar instead of using the Share button. Copied URLs enforce a login gate, while Share-button links allow View Only access first.
The viewer's MarketScale role is VIP Guest, not Member.
Important: A user's displayed job title (e.g., "VIP - Growth") is their business title, not their MarketScale platform role. Always check the User Type field to confirm their actual access level.
