You stood up a partner channel. Now you need to make the first ask to a real dealer, integrator, or rep. The way you frame that ask determines whether you get one piece of content, ten pieces of content, or a partner who never replies.
Most marketers ask wrong. The fix takes one rewrite.
Ask about them, not about you.
The wrong ask:
Hey, can you grab some content while you're on-site this week?
The right ask:
We'd love to shout you out as one of our top partners. Can we share the success of your install with our community? We'll edit it, brand it, and post it out so your customers see it too.
The first version is a chore for them. The second version is marketing for them. Same content, different motivation. Their phone comes out faster when the upside is theirs.
Use a Request link so they don't have to log in.
Every dealer and integrator has the same objection: I'm not learning another platform. You don't have to make them. The Request link is a no-login submission bridge. You configure the prompts inside MarketScale, send a link by text or email, and they record on their phone with no account creation, no password, no app install.
Three taps. Submit. The clip lands in your inbox.
Pro tip from the coaches: Send the Request link by text, not by email. Texts get opened. Field reps live in their phones, not their inboxes. A 30-second video request that arrives by text gets returned within an hour. The same request by email sits unread for a week.
Start with one trusted partner. Use their finished video as the model.
The first activation is a sales pitch for the next ten. Pick a partner who already trusts you. Capture one install, one customer site, one walkthrough. Edit it through MarketScale with the co-branded brand book. Post it out under both names.
When you make the next ask, you are not pitching an idea anymore. You are pitching a finished asset.
Look at the marketing we ran for our partner in Idaho. We'd love to do the same for you in Boston.
That sentence converts at a different rate than a cold ask. The receiving partner sees themselves on the other side of the deliverable, not just the request.
Co-brand every output.
If you have a partner channel set up, this is automatic. Every edit comes out with both logos, both color palettes, both names. If you do not have a partner channel yet, you can still co-brand inside your own channel by maintaining a separate brand book for partner content. We can help you configure either path.
The mechanics matter less than the principle. Every piece of partner content should make the partner look as good as it makes you look. That is what turns a one-off favor into an ongoing rhythm.
Make the next ask while the moment is fresh.
Once the first partner sees their content posted out, the window to convert that energy into the second activation is short. Send the next ask while the first partner is still seeing their own video in their feed. Reference what you did for them. Apply the same offer.
Done at the right cadence, this scales. One partner becomes ten in a quarter. Ten becomes fifty. The marketing team you didn't know you had starts working.
Make the first ask.
Pick one partner. Send a Request link. Edit the result with their logo on it. Post it out.
Open MarketScale to set up a Request, or reach out to your MarketScale lead about your first activation play.
