It only takes a few clicks to invite or create new users—whether they’re internal teammates, external contributors, or even C-suite execs.
There are a few different ways to get users added to your Studio Channel. Let's break each of them down.
✅ Quick Guide to Inviting Users
1. Click “Invite Users” from the masthead
Found at the top right of your screen.
Opens a pop-up where you can:
Add emails manually
Upload a CSV of email addresses
Select role type: Standard User (Member) or Guest Pass
Standard Users = internal team
Guest Pass Users = clients, partners, or external contributors
🎯 Pro Tip: Guest Pass is perfect for contributors who just need to record/upload—not roam around your Studio.
2. Use the Profile Dropdown Menu
Click your profile picture (top right)
Select “Invite Users” for the same pop-up interface
Just another way to get to the same tool—use whichever is faster for you
3. Admins Only: Use the “Users” Admin View
Go to Profile > Admin Actions > Users
Two options here:
Invite User – same invite pop-up as above
Create User – bypass the invite process and build a profile manually with:
Email, username, password, role (even Admin)
🎯 Use “Create User” when you need to control credentials or pre-build accounts before training.
4. Admins Only: Use the “Edit Channel” View
Go to Profile > Admin Actions > Edit Channel
Navigate to Team Management
From here, invite or create users with even more granular controls
Can designate Admins at invite time
Can manage channel-specific access
👥 Who Can Invite or Add Users?
Role | Can Invite? | Can Create? | Notes |
Admin | ✅ Yes | ✅ Yes | Full control over user roles & access |
Member | ✅ Yes | ❌ No | Can invite new Standard or Guest users |
Guest | ❌ No | ❌ No | Cannot invite or add anyone |

🚫 Common Missteps
Only inviting internal teammates. You’re missing 80% of your potential creators (think: clients, channel partners, subject matter experts).
Confusing user roles. Not every user needs full access. Use VIP Guest Passes strategically.
Waiting for someone else to invite users. If you're a Standard User or Admin, you have the power—use it!
Skipping the CSV upload. For larger teams, manual entry = wasted time. Upload that list.
