Fill in the basics
Title: Give your media a clear name so you can find it later.
Add files: Click Add files or drag and drop up to 100 files at once—MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, MP3, WAV, JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, BMP.
Folder: Drop your uploads into an existing folder (or create a new one) so everything stays organized.
Approver: Select who needs to sign off, if required.

Be patient (but it’s worth it)
Uploading can take time—especially large files up to 10GB per submission. Don’t close your browser until you see the “Uploaded” confirmation.

No need to download files just to re-upload—link your Box or Dropbox account and bring content in with zero hassle. In Upload, click “From Cloud,” pick your Box or Dropbox folder, and drag files straight into the portal. It’s a turnkey, self-serve way to keep all your assets organized without extra steps.
Tips for Successful File Management
Double-check file type & size before you click Upload—no surprises mid-transfer.
Use clear, descriptive file names (e.g.
ProductLaunch_SocialCut1.mov
) so reviewers know what they’re looking at without digging.Group related assets: If you have multiple edits, bundle them in a folder. MarketScale let you handle dozens of files in one media card.
Stay patient but proactive: Very large files can still take time, depending on your connection. If your Upload stalls, check your network and retry.

How do I add media from Dropbox or Box?
Under Media, hit the Dropbox or Box button. Log in if prompted, navigate to your folder, and select files—no downloads or re-uploads needed. It’s a seamless, on-demand way to bring cloud assets into MarketScale.
What’s the “Add to folders” option?
Folders help you keep media organized. After you title your upload, click Add to folder +, pick an existing folder (or create a new one), and your files automatically land under that folder. You’ll find everything in one scalable folder view—no more hunting. Ensure that media files are assigned to folders when required, as missing folder assignments can result in upload errors.
How do I select an approver?
Scroll down to Select approver, click the person you want to review your media, then hit Start upload. Your approver will receive an instant notification once your files finish uploading.
How long will it take to upload?
Upload speed depends on file size and your internet connection. Small clips often finish instantly; large videos (within the 10 GB cap) can take several minutes, or longer. Don’t close your browser—wait for the “Upload confirmed” message.
My upload failed—what now?
First, check these common causes:
File size and type: Ensure your file is under the size limit and in an acceptable format.
Missing required fields: Make sure you've completed all necessary metadata fields, including tags and folder assignments, if applicable. If everything seems correct, try again: click Upload and reselect your files. Still stuck? It's probably your internet connection. Try a speed test, you should have at least 15mbps upload. Where do my files go after uploading?
Your media lands in the Inbox for approval, and then your Dashboard and any folders you chose.
Can I edit my title after uploading?
