Trade shows, team outings, site visits—most videos get shot offsite. With Upload, you can instantly drop them into your portal.
Log In & Click Upload
After logging in, hit Upload in the toolbar. No extra menus, no gimmicks—just a straightforward, self-serve uploader.
Fill in the basics
Title: Give your media a clear name so you can find it later.
Add files: Click Add files or drag and drop up to 100 files at once—MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, MP3, WAV, JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, BMP.
Raw Footage: Only tick box if you want the content in folders only and NOT on the timeline. This would be for bulk b-roll uploads, for example.
Folder: Drop your uploads into an existing folder (or create a new one) so everything stays organized.
Approver: Select who needs to sign off, if required.
Privacy/Groups: If applicable, select privacy settings and add the upload to a group to control who can view the content.
Start upload: Hit the button in the bottom right and let it rip.
Be patient (but it’s worth it)
Uploading can take time—especially large files up to 10GB per submission. Don’t close your browser until you see the “Uploaded” confirmation.
Group related assets in one media card
Since you can attach up to 100 files, this is a no-frills way to bundle photos, videos, and audio together. Use folders to instantly find all assets under one roof.

Upload via Box & Dropbox
No need to download files just to re-upload—link your Box or Dropbox account and bring content in with zero hassle. In Upload, click “From Cloud,” pick your Box or Dropbox folder, and drag files straight into the portal. It’s a turnkey, self-serve way to keep all your assets organized without extra steps.
Uploading from Mobile
MarketScale Studio works in your mobile browser—just go to studio.marketscale.com on your preferred browser.
You’ll see the same upload screen as on desktop. We recommend filming content on your device’s camera app for higher quality, then uploading from your camera roll rather than recording directly in Studio.
All the other steps for uploading media are the same!
Once it’s done, you’ll land on the video card where you can approve and instantly publish to the home feed.
Tips for Successful File Management
Double-check file type & size before you click Upload—no surprises mid-transfer.
Use clear, descriptive file names (e.g.
ProductLaunch_SocialCut1.mov
) so reviewers know what they’re looking at without digging.Group related assets: If you have multiple edits, bundle them in a folder. MarketScale let you handle dozens of files in one media card.
Stay patient but proactive: Very large files can still take time, depending on your connection. If your Upload stalls, check your network and retry.
What file types can I upload?
You can upload video (MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI), audio (MP3, M4A, WAV), and images (JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, HEIC, HEIF). Check the Upload window for the most up-to-date files accepted.
Just click Browse Files, drag-and-drop, or tap Dropbox/Box to pull from the cloud—easy and turnkey.
